4. If you are looking for a job with the Bühlmann family
When you apply for a job at the Bühlmann family, we process your personal data in connection with the recruitment process. We recommend that your application does not contain civil registration numbers or sensitive personal data, such as personal data revealing racial or ethnic background, religion, trade union membership, sexuality or health information.

The Bühlmann family processes your personal data on one or more of the following grounds:
Legitimate interests: We may process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in assessing whether we wish to offer you employment, including on the basis of the information,
you provide in your CV, application and any attachments, based on relevant information that is public.
available on the internet and social media, results of personality tests, references from reference persons you have indicated in your application and other information you provide us in connection with
the recruitment process. The processing may also be necessary for our legitimate interest in
defend or assert legal claims (Article 6, paragraph 1, litra f, Of the general Data Protection Regulation).
Consent: If we wish to obtain references from previous and/or current employers,
that you have not specified as references in your application, we will only do this if we have obtained your consent to this (data protection regulation article 6, paragraph 1, letter a). If the position you have applied for
exceptionally make special demands on health conditions, we will – after concrete assessment –
ask for your express consent prior to the processing of such personal data (Article 9, paragraph 2, litra a and Article 6, paragraph 1, litra a of the General Data Protection Regulation).

This section contains the policy for Familien Bühlmann’s processing of personal data about owners of sole proprietorships or contact persons at suppliers and other business partners who cooperate with Familien Bühlmann.

our legitimate interest in preventing fraud or establishing, defending or enforcing legal claims

Legal obligation: The processing of your personal data will in some cases be necessary for
compliance with legal obligations, such as our obligation to prevent illegal activities
(Article 6, paragraph 1, litra c, of the General Data Protections Regulation).

6.1 WHEN YOU VISIT OUR HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS

other visitors to Familien Bühlmann’s hotels and restaurants.

When you visit one of Familien Bühlmann’s hotels or restaurants, Familien Bühlmann may collect, process and store the following types of personal data about you:

Passport and other identity information where required by applicable legislation

Photo and video material in connection with monitoring our locations

Basis of treatment
The Bühlmann family processes your personal data on one or more of the following bases:
Contractual obligations: In certain cases, the processing of your personal data is necessary for
to be able to fulfill a contract (Article 6, paragraph 1, litra b, of the General Data Protections Regulation).
Legitimate interests: In most cases, we base the processing of your personal data on ours
legitimate interests in being able to establish, defend or enforce legal claims and in protecting
our physical locations. In addition, we base the processing of your personal data on ours
legitimate interest in planning and evaluating a visit (Article 6, Paragraph 1, litra f, of the General Data Protections Regulation).
Legal obligation: The processing of information about your payment details and your purchases is necessary for the compliance with applicable accounting legislation, VAT legislation and marketing legislation (Article 6, paragraph 1, litra c) of the General Data Protection Regulation). Certain identification information is necessary for compliance with the passport order and the order on foreigners’ access
in this country (Article 6, paragraph 1, litra c of the General Data Protection Regulation).
Especially about video surveillance
We have installed video surveillance for crime-preventive and safety-creating reasons, cf. the data protection regulation, article 6, paragraph 1, litra f and the Data Protection Regulation § 8, subsection 3. Signage has been set up in the areas that are monitored.
The recordings may be reviewed in case of concrete suspicion of criminal acts by visitors or other persons, violation of Familien Bühlmann’s policies and guidelines, internal/external
audits or with a view to clarifying disputes
We can pass on the recordings to the police for crime-solving purposes, including if the presentation is
subject to legal requirements, cf. the Data Protection Act § 8, subsection 4. If it is necessary to present the recordings
for purposes other than those mentioned above, we will request your consent to such disclosure if you are part of it
the recordings.

Legitimate interests: The Bühlmann family bases the processing of your personal data on ours
legitimate interests in being able to communicate with and market ourselves to you on our profiles at
social media, as well as our legitimate interest in improving our products and services (Article 6, paragraph 1, litra f, of the General Data Protections Regulation).
- The providers of the social media base the processing of your personal data on their legitimate
interests, including their interest in improving their advertising system and providing statistics to

Consent: The social media providers process certain of your personal data in accordance with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through your
privacy settings on the social media (Article 6, paragraph 1, litra a, of the General Data Protections Regulation).

8. HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
Your personal data will be deleted when we no longer need to process it for the fulfillment of a
or more of the above purposes. However, the information can be processed and stored longer in anonymized form, or if we are obliged to do so according to the law. Accounting material, including personal data that we are obliged to store in accordance with the Accounting Act, is deleted no earlier than 5 years after the end of the financial year to which the information relates.
Especially about newsletters
Your personal data will be stored as long as your consent to receive newsletters is active.
We store documentation for your marketing legal consent for two years from the time you have revoked your consent to receive direct marketing material. The retention period is set on the basis of Familien Bühlmann’s legitimate interest in being able to document that direct marketing has taken place in accordance with applicable legislation (Article 6, paragraph 1, litra f of the General Data Protection Regulation).
Especially about job applications
If you are offered a position with Familien Bühlmann, your application as well as additional relevant personal data collected in connection with the employment procedure will be stored in your personnel file with us.
If you are not offered a position, we will store your application and any additional personal data there
collected in connection with the employment procedure, for a period of 6 months after our refusal, unless you have given your consent to a longer storage of such personal data.
You can revoke any consents you may have given as part of our employment procedure at any time. Revocation of your consent will have an effect on the future processing of your personal data, but does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to the revocation. If you wish to withdraw your consent, you can contact us as indicated below.
Video surveillance
Recordings from video surveillance made for the purpose of crime prevention are deleted or anonymized no later than 30 days after the recording, unless it is necessary for the Bühlmann Family to store the recordings for the purpose of handling a specific dispute, e.g. in connection with solving an offence.
9. TRANSFER TO OTHER DATA CONTROLLERS AND TRANSFER TO DATA PROCESSORS
In order to fulfill the above purposes, we may give access to your personal data to third parties who, on the basis of a contractual relationship with Familien Bühlmann, provide relevant services. These can be, for example, IT suppliers, mail providers and suppliers of IT solutions. Such service providers will only process personal data in accordance with our instructions according to concluded data processing agreements.
In connection with Familien Bühlmann’s development, the company structure may change, for example in whole or in part
sale of the company. In the event of a partial transfer of assets that contain personal data, the processing basis for the associated transfer of personal data is basically the data protection regulation’s article 6, subsection 1, letter f, as the Bühlmann family has a legitimate interest in
transfer parts of its assets and make commercial changes.
Apart from what is described above, your personal data will not be passed on to a
third party without your permission. However, under certain circumstances and according to the law, it can be
necessary to pass on your personal data to:

If your personal data is transferred to data processors or data controllers established abroad
for the EU/EEA, which does not have a sufficient level of protection, such a transfer will be based on the EU Commission’s standard contracts.
10. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to gain insight into the personal data we process about you

You have the right to rectification and deletion of your personal data, however with certain statutory exceptions, including the Accounting Act
You have the right to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data
In certain circumstances, you can also request to receive a copy of your personal data as well as the transmission of the personal data you have provided to us to another data controller (data portability)
You can revoke any consents you may have given at any time. We will hereafter delete your personal data, unless we can continue the processing on another basis. Our newsletter can be unsubscribed by clicking on the link at the bottom of the newsletter
